Haro has teamed up with Sevag Mahserejian to collaborate for one of LA's biggest art shows for 2011. The show takes place Thursday, Dec 8th. cARTel's FORT show will have TEN teams of artists putting their brains together at LA's Angel City Brewing Co - a 15,000 square foot space that will have an artist playground of forts including sunken pirate ships, tree houses and western comic book themes. Massive art, DJ's and fresh brewed beer to follow suit. Also a reminder that Haro will be displaying art for Outside The Box in Hollywood on November 11th. Filmed by Haro Istamboulian and Manuel Ashekian. 04.21.2010 The release date for Haro's next informative short titled Voice of Probity: 95 Years After The Armenian Genocide has been posted in the HaroFilm section. No one should miss yet another opportunity to speak aloud. Protest marches begin in Hollywood at 10am on Sat the 24th. A candle light vigil for the victims and passing survivors will be held at the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Montebello thereafter. Protests at the Turkish Consulate is set to take place at 6300 Wilshire Blvd from 4 to 6pm on that same day. Over 6,000 Armenians and non-Armenians alike are expected to attend both march and protest combined. 'Silence the Lies. Rock the Truth' will be held that night at the El Rey Theater as recognition for the 1915 Genocide. Haro will be all over Los Angeles filming throughout the entire day for said release. The seminar was a success in the Armenian community bringing awareness in supplying the body of strength and healing without the need of external pharmaceuticals. The seminar was filmed by Haro and is now (finally) available on DVD. The seminar was aimed more toward the Armenian community therefore is mostly spoken in Armenian, though Garo's diagrams and captions in the film are in English.
